Effective immediately, our meetings will be held BI-MONTHLY, that is, every other month (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.) on the third Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m.

Christmas Party - December 7, 2024 

Bi-Monthly meetings will be held at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community's (VMRC) Village Hall, 1475 Virginia Ave, Harrisonburg, Virginia.  Our group is very thankful that VMRC has allowed us to hold our meetings at their lovely location.
 
Directions: Take 42 North (Virginia Ave.) to the entrance of VMRC, immediately turn right on Heritage Drive. At the intersection with Shank Drive, cross Shank to Village Hall (there is a sign at the intersection).

Brain injury survivors, families, friends, and caregivers are invited. All are welcome to attend.

Monthly meetings include speakers on topics such as Music Therapy, How to Deal with Loss/Grief, Stress Management, Journaling, and other subjects of relevance to members.  Other times we break into separate groups - brain injury individuals in one, and caregivers and family in another.  This gives members the opportunity to freely share ideas, concerns, and triumphs in their daily lives.
